It is not all about Diet !

Summer  is   the  season  when   we   feel  more  sexy  and  flirty , we  go  to  the  beach   we   swim ,   if   the   sea  looks  good    we  can   water  ski  ...  and    at  night    the  best   would   be    to  go   to  dance . 

Here   in  Roma    I   also did   follow  my    friend Alessandra   Buffa    who   was  a   supermodel  of  the   80  to  the     dancing  classes    of Venezuelan  Anthony    who  reinvented   a  new   way  to   do  excersise    with   dancing  ,   he    hold  some  classes   at  Mondo   Fitness   ( a day  Club  Med  style   venue    opened   for  summer     time   in  Roma   where   there   are  classes   of  all  the  sports )


Dance  Dance Dance.....   but   you  need    your   look  to   be dancing  with    you  !!!

Fashion Diet

This    year    I  decided   to  spend  the   summer   in  Italy   rather  then  London (where  this  year  there   was  not  much   summer ),     here  is   seriously  hot ,therefore    thinking   what  to  eat  is    not  just  to  show   up   a  nice    figure   at  the   beach ,     fruit  and   vegetables      should  be    the  base    of  our   diet  and   the   designers      who  love    super   slim   models  and   would    rather   see   their   clothing   worn   by  slim  figure     keep  remind   us  always    in  their   collection   .
Domenico   Dolce   from  Dolce &Gabbana  which  I  know   to  be Obsessed   with   Diet   and    dedicated   thier summer   12   collection   to   it   .
Peperoncino   ( Sicilian  and    very   spice )    is  great   to   speed   the   metabolism   .
Maybe    next  season  we   will    get   outfit  with   instructions ???

Chanel spend the summer in Capri

One of my favorite place in the world is the island  of   Capri ,   while    I  generally  consider  myself   as  citizen  of   the  world   Rome   and   Capri  together   with   Sofia   Loren  and    all  the   Fashion  Brands  and  luxury brands  in  general   make   me  feel  so   special    to  be  Italian    .

Everything   in  Capri is so amazing the view  of  the  Faraglioni  , the sea  so   blue ,  the   Grotta    Azurra   one  of  the    " 7 Meraviglie  del  Mondo " , the  best food , and the best shopping in the world . All  the   best brands   have a Boutique there , either  if  the    shop is  small   will carry always.the best selection you can think of .
The   jewellery   shops  look   like   candy    shop  ....     with   open  doors but  all  is  real  . 
The    Quisisana   Hotel   dominate    from  Via  Camerelle    with   all its  splendor ,  no  matter    if  you  stay  guest there  or  not  you always  like  to  stop  there
It  is  so lovely that Chanel decided to open a Ephemeral shop there just a minute from Via Camerelle for the summer     a   shop    out  of  the   ordinary     " Villa   Chanel  "  ,  a  place   that   make  a    CC   item  becoming  either   more   special,  for     some  reason   shopping  in  Capri   give   either   more   Allure  to  the    item purchased .
I really  hope    to  be   able  to   go  this   summer    to  spend    few   days     there !

La classe non e acqua ( class is not water )

I  am  sitting   at  my  desk  working  on  my  story  board   for   HIA   a/w   photo   shoots ,  and    keep   the  TV  on  as   keep   me   company,  and   by   a  chance I ended   on  E and   they  playing   the    marriage   of  Kim  Kardashian and Kris Humphriers (   which   I  am   not  sure  why   she  is   famous   for  as   she   is  not  an  actress ,  or  a  singer  or  ....   ) .
The   all   wedding   was  coordinated   black   and  white     from   decoration    to  dress   code   for  the  guests  .

It  maybe   inspired   to  the famous   scene  @   Horse  racing  in  "My  fair  lady"  which   I    super  love, .....  but  for some  reason  is   not   the   same    taste  .....  "La  Classe non e acqua "

Macaroni io ve distruggo

I  am    still   in  Rome, and     with my  friend    Ian Paul   we   decided   to   go   down  for a  drink to   Trastevere, but   we    found  the   area    totally    changed    from   the   Big   Movida   of  the  past  years  .

All  was  very  clean  and    tidy ,   no  people   around    to  sell  fakes   of  big  brands ,   but  only  pot purri   and   mini   Pinocchio  dolls, but  also   and  this   was a   very  good   surprise just   open  a  new    shop  called  di San  Giacomo   in  Via  di  Santa  Dorotea which make   "Capri Sandals "  . 

Many  of  the   restaurants   have   the check  red   and    white table  cloths   and   all   looked  more    like   " Trastevere  inside    Disney  " ,  of   course    Police   forces  everywhere   to  be  sure    to    keep   all  this  way   .
Tourists   in    forces    specially  American  and   British   flock  in  the   streets    of   Trastevere  which still maintains its character thanks   to  its narrow   cobbled  streets  lined by medieval houses .



The    style    code   was   to  have  a    bag     to  wear   cross !

Today  I  am in  Rome   and  they  celebrate   250   years  since   " Trevi's Fountain "  was  first   shown  to public .

The   scene   of   Anita  Ekberg  in the   fountain, inviting  Marcello   Mastroianni    to  join  her   in  1960 movie  "  La  Dolce  Vita "  by  Federico  Fellini, is  possible   one of  the   most  memorable ever movie  scene.
If   the   movie   was   done   now   what   "Sexy Blonde   Anita"    would  wear  ?

Do you want to marry me ???

One  of  the  person   who  inspired  and   teach  me   more in  all  the  aspect   of  Creative   Direction  is   John  Galliano ,  I  never   had   the   chance   to  spend   time   with   him   but   just  observing  his amazing  work   for    Dior    and  John  Galliano,  was   enough to  spin   my  imagination .

Every   time , the   representation  of   the   show  was    something   amazing   transporting into a  Fantasy dream ,  but  then the   garments   in  the   shop  would   always    be wearable . (he  was   working  as  C.D.at  Dior   he    did  not  need   to   do  chinos ,  for  people   to   ride  metro  at  pick  time ,  but  create  clothing  for  a   privileged   society  ) .

Every   time   I  was  receiving   for   a photo  shoot  on  HIA   magazine  a garment   from  Dior   Haute   Couture  I  was  feeling  one  of  the  most    special   person   on  Fashion  planet   .

I remember   when   the  Saddle   bag  was  created  ...   was   a  MUST !!!! ( I  still   have   mine  in denim in  my  personal  Archive  :-D )

I  was   so  in  love   with   the  limited edition  dedicated   to   different   country  which  inspired    collection   of  John  @ Dior   .

Above   some  of   my   shoot  on  HIA  magazine   featuring   Dior  Haute   Couture by  John  Galliano .

At one  point   my  EiC  Mai Badr  went  to  meet   him  for   interview   and   asked  me   if   I  had  any  question    for  John    so  I  send   " Do  you  want  to  marry  me ? "  . 

I  know   John  is   for sure   having   great   time   either   without   working and his  creativity  flown  either without  signing  a  collection ,    but  I   really  miss   to  see  what   he  could    do  next   and   I  believe   many   more  people  do  too.
