It  looks   after  Farmville  now  everyone , in  the  fashion  business  is  playing  Candy  Crash !
The  candies   bracelets    first  seen  on  Viviana  Valpolicella   are   a  major   Hit  !!!!
Chanel winter  2014-5   sent  lots  of  those  on  the  catwalk

Manish  Arora   who is  really  sweet and is  one  of  my   buddies  playing Candy Crash ,  had  it  in   his  winter  show .

Jeremy   Scott   started   Moschino   1st  stop   McDonald ....   to  then  close  winter   2014-5   with Teddy Bear   gel   candies  !!! 

Swatch,  created    for  the   summer  " Caramellissima "  !!!  .....  yes  everyone  is  playing  !!!:-D

Yes   candies   are  the   new  pearls !!!

Fashion Victim or Victim of Fashion ?

I  am   in  London  as   I  had  to   finish   to work  on  my  photo   shoots  , prior   starting      of  London   shows  ,     at  main  time  N.Y.  fashion  week  already  started  showing  winter  2014-15   ,  from  time    to  time  I   try   to have  a  look   what  is   happening  at  the  shows    there ,   but  then  I   give  up    to     keep   my  focus  on   Summer  14  which   I  am  still  shooting   .

By  chance   I   had   a  look   at  some  pictures  from  Street  Style ,  “The  Sartorialist “ and   friends   are  very  active   during  fashion  weeks  .

In  New  York   the   temperature   are   below  zero   for   quite  few   weeks  already ,    some   days    below   13  !!!

Apparently    Fashion  Editors  are   in  the   last few seasons the   new  “Divas” , and    PR  ,   trying  to    get  as  many   of  them    dressed     for   the  fashion   week  events    .

Carrie  from  Sex  and   City  “ Fashion Editor secret Icon",  playing  with   contrast  ,  exclusive  items ,  and  “more  is more”  is  generally   the   style   to  get   more   Street  style  Cover  attentions  .   Anna  Dello   Russo     is “The Super Diva” of  them    all   followed    by    her   protege’  Giovanna  Battaglia , and  the  Petit   Russian  Bilionaresse  Miroslava  Duma .

The  “Fashionista “ street  style  seen  around  at  this  week  around   shows  in  NY   is , is  pastel  colours,    no  tights   ,   or  socks   ,   with    Thin   high    heel   shoes   despite   still  a  lot   of   snow   in  the  “Big  Apple “  streets “ summer   fashion    showing     a  go  go  !!    But   Fendi  Fur bags  are    a  hit  , as   keep   the  Mobile   phone   warm  !     Winter    collection  was    already  worn   by  the  same   girls  in  September   for     previous   Fashion   weeks  Tour  when   was   +   24   degree  !!!

Long  life   to Scott "The Sartolist "  and  Garance Dore   "The  Obama  from Fashion " !

Tomorrow  there  maybe   a  tube  strike   in  London  ,   I  still   cannot   found  a  car  to  take  me   to  my  shoots  .... I   have   10    bridal   gowns   to   take  from   HIA   office   to   the  photographic   studio  and  I   rather    keep   looking   for  a   Van  to   take  me  and   all  the  gowns  there   .... as   I   cannot walk  for   for   over   5   miles  in Louboutin  shoes  !!!!

Are Fashion Editors the new style Icons ?

I   really  missing  running  of  this  blog   but  in  the  last  few  months   I  have  been    working  no  stop  on    one  shoot  after  another   .
Above   one  of   the   video  backstage  from  accessories   shoot  I  done   for   HIA  magazine   March  issue .
Which  one  is   me  ?  I  am   actually  the person  behind   the  lent  (  either  if  I  am  not   filming )  and   I  feel   as   a  Fashion  Editor   I  must  be   private   .
At  present   at  the  show the  focus  is  more   prior entering  the venue   as   the  catwalk  images are  immediately on line .    
Street   style  vs Catwalk  ? , I  am  really  getting   Obsessed   with    the look  of  Russian  Bilionaress   it  girls  particularly  Mioslava   Duma    ,  Elena  Perminova  and  Ulyana  Sergeenko .

Italian Anna   Dello  Russo is  now  an  international  celebrity, everyone  like  to  dress  her , know what  she  is  wearing ,  do a  product  collaboration  with  her    but  do  people   remember   her  amazing  styling  done   for  Italian  Vogue ? 

Giovanna   Battaglia   is   always   a  Street Style   front  Icon   ,  while   her mother  in  Law   the  super  talent  Carine  Roitfield    muse   of  Tom  Ford    does  generally    keep private , and   keep  her   looks  understated  .

Elsa  Nalin  I  have  no  clue   who  she   work   for   but   her   clash mix  dressing  with  designer clothing  made  her  another  Icon  for  street  style    .

Caroline  Issa   seams  to  be  everywhere ,   and   remind  everyone that    experimental  magazine  Tank   where  she   is  Fashion  Director is   still   out  on  newstand .

Kim  Hersow   still  very   much a  muse   for   Harper  Bazaar   UK  with  her  "Cool Park Avenue Princess " style  . ( industry   used  to  joke on  Harpers & Kim ) .

Is all about Girls

I    was   missing   running  of  this   blog  ,  but  been     shooting   for    HIA   no  stop  in  the  last    3   weeks ,  and  is  never    easy  when   the   show  are     happening  .

Today   is  my  first  day   free  and   I  was  looking  at   facebook . If   anyone  of  you  like  to  follow  me  there ,  I  do  update   the  page  almost  every  day  here  the  link :

On facebook  saw  a   picture  posted    from  my  friend   RodRick   who  is  a   very  famous   show  producer   from  paris   and   was  saying   " Is  all  about  girls "   .

I  am really  happy  to  see  this,  and    to  notice   that   on  the  catwalk  this   season there   are    girls   with  more   individuality .  In  the    last  few  years Russel  Marsh London casting  director  supremo   decided    to  cast   girls   all    look very   similar  and  in  his  offices   girls    had  also  head    to  be  measured   .
All      to  look    a  bit  like little   Robot   so  that  that  the clothing of  the  designer  could  be the  only  focus  .

I first  adapeted   myself   to  the      concept   specially   when  I  was  styling  Manish  Arora   whose  clothing  have a  lot  of  individuality ,  then  as   member  of  press  sitting  at  the  show    I  got   very  bored  of   girls  all  same .   Girls    stay   on  the  catwalk  long  enough   for   us  to  see  the  look anyway .

Fashion  is  about  individuality ,  a  different   way  of   wearing  either    the  same    garment ,  which  can  be    styled  and   restyled  in   so  many    different   ways .  I   think  this   is  why   we  all   getting  so  obsessed   with  Street  style  pictures   .

Fashion  at  present   is  a  bit  more lifestyle ,  all   must  be  wearable ,    big   Drama   show  are  not  happening  .   So  Models    casting   is   back    to   individual .   I  miss   John   Galliano    like   many   people   in  the  business ,  his   collections    where   amazing  and   the   show   a   real  SHOW   which  made  a   difference   between  who    was  privileged  to  be   sitting  there  and    who  watched   from  style.com  !!!!

Now  real    Super show   at  the  catwalk  is  only  done   by  Anna  dello  Russo  which  I  Adore  ,  and    I  am  really   waiting  for  her  H&M   collection    to  be   out !!!



Let's   see    who   are     the   new  Super  models   coming  out   after    the   4   weeks   of   SS  13   shows    .

And   now ....   enjoy   some  Fashion  shower  !!!!!

Georgina you Rock !!!!

Today I was flipping throw the pages of winter edition of style.com which I absolutely love

 In time when everyone talks about magazine soon stopping printing and just going on line , amazing  to see that 2  concepts which started on line such as style.com and net-a-porter.com now becoming  so popular that   needed   to  also go print !

Omg I am doing it again  I wonted to talk about Giorgina and got lost !.... 

Anyway I was reading style the pages on Giorgina and how she is queen of L.A. Red carpet catwalk , I think she deserve it by her own right and not by marriage .  

I   adore    Harvey   is a  men    with    an  amazing   personality ,  with   always   new   ideas,  someone   you  never    get   bored   with . I  would    not    have   image  her    married   to  a  Male Model  .

 Her gowns produced under Marchesa label she  created  her  friend  Karen  Craig are a dream , on superstar on red carpet or to big  Ball events and wedding ,  as   a  guest  or   as Main   Star  "  Bride ".

I remember working with Giorgina for a  magazine photo shoot about  about 13 years  ago ( i will try to look for the pictures and post it on this blog ) , she was a lovely model and I remember she took on the the shoot a corset she was working on as school work , and she was working on it while she was getting hair and make up done . I remember to be really impressed from what she show me .   But    same  time   told  her   how   difficult   was   to  succeed   in  fashion,   and    thinking   the  courage    to  go  back   to  school ,  while    she     was   already   doing  well  as   model  . 

Work   on  what   you  believe  !!!!

If  there  is  a   color   that    we  can  say    was   the  " It "   of  summer   12   is defitely   Yellow  !!!    Or   at     least    this   is  what    came  as  result  from  the   catwalk ,  as    to  be   honest   I    did  not    see   do  many  people    "  lemon "  dressing   around   .

But ....  as  magazine   we  always   need  something   to  talk  and   Lemon  is     so  refreshing  during   this   hot  hot  summer   2012    +  is  the   name   of   my  new   TV    Fashion  Obsession  " Lemon  Breeland  "    in  Hart  of  Dixie played     by   the   amazing  Beautiful    Jamie   King  .

Yellow  either     when  is  in   " Lemon " shade is  never   agressive  like  Red ,  but still  very  Bon  Ton .

Black is Black

There   is  a   season  when to  be   more   sexy ?  used  to  be   summer , as   was   time  to    go  to  the  beach ,   wear ,  short  clothing ,and  play  around  , now  dressing  is  not  more  about    season   but  more  about    style   .
We   dress    in   layers    or  is  also  called  "Onion"  dressing .
Transparency  is  not  longer  considered a  scandal  .   Total  Black  again   is     "IN"  as  winter   12-3 trend ,  as   if    was  ever  out  .
While   at  the   begging  of  the   summer    the  eye  catching  prints    specially   the  cartoon  by  Prada   was   the    coolest    item  to   wear  ,  towards   the  end of  summer  Black   is   the    Look  .
Once  black    was  the  colour   for   funeral , now    the  colour    to  be  Sexy ,  better     with    key   accessories    which  make sensual  and  mysterious.
