Miu  Miu   with    its    flowers    swim hat made  me  want  to  run  back   home  to  watch  a   lovely   movie   with  Esther   Williams.

Charlotte Delal  @  Chalotte   Olympia   looked   in  her Brazilian    origin   and took  inspiration    from Carmen   Miranda    “ Tutti Frutti Girl”.
Alessandro  Michele    took  inspiration  for Gucci’s  summer   campaign shoot   in  Rome from  “ La Dolce Vita “   by   Federico   Fellini   and   the  models   are   swimming  inside   Rome  fountain   as     done in the movie with  Anita  .

Fashion  and    Movie   always    had  a  strong   bond ,   the  Costume designers of Hollywood  Golden   Age  were popular    like   the   Fashion  designer   nowdays   . The wedding dress of the American actress Grace Kelly, worn during her wedding to Prince Rainer III of Monaco on 19 April 1956,  cited as one of the most elegant and best-remembered bridal gowns of all time, and one of the most famous since the mid 20th century. It was designed by Helen Rose  the   costume  designer of MGM. The dress was a wedding gift to Kelly from the MGM studio. Some 50 years on, the dress is still influential; the wedding dress that Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, wore on 29 April 2011 was said to have been inspired by it

Jean  Louis was known for his stylish and often deceptively simple garments, including most famously Rita Hayworth’s strapless black sheath in Gilda (1946). He even created Marilyn Monroe’s sheer ‘President’s dress’, immortalised at John F. Kennedy’s 45th birthday celebration in 1962.
