Gianni  Versace   is  for  me  unforgettable ,  He  created   the  Superbrands  together   with  Super Models   .

Before  Gianni  fashion  was   Lady  like ,  After  with  Gianni   was   fun  and   R&R .
I  remember    Giorgio  Armani saying    " Io  vesto  le  Signore ,  Gianni  veste  le  Puttane " .....   well    Girls   want  to  have   fun  !!!!

I  have  a  great   memory of  Gianni  Versace from   my  time  in  Miami .
Versace   South   Beach  stories   a  book   which  is   part  of   the  revamp  of  Miami  .

When    I  arrived    there  first  time     at  the  end   of    80   Miami  was     totally   different  from  now ,  specially    South  Beach  where   main   resident    were    the  not  so  wealthy old   pensioners  average   age over  70 +++  ( but   anyway cool old  people   dressing  in vibrant  colour  clothing ,  so  different  from  Italy  where  old  people  were   mostly  dressed  in black )   building   were  old   and  decadent  ,  The   Raleigh  was virtually  the   only  upscale  hotel   to  stay   in  South  Beach.
Was   Miami  of "Miami  Vice ".

Raleigh   Hotel  Pool  was  set   for  many   of   Versace  pictures,  one  of  the  most recognisable  Swimming Pool  ever !

Gianni Versace found himself on the beach-front boulevard Ocean Drive in 1992. In town to visit his sister Donatella, whose then-husband Paul Beck is from nearby Hollywood, Florida, and to attend the opening of a new Versace boutique in Bal Harbour, he had planned to continue on to Cuba. When he discovered South Beach, he cancelled his trip.

The Villa Casa Casuarina  on  Ocean  Drive was built in 1930  in Mediterranean Revival style, commissioned by architect Alden Freeman. There is a rumor that during construction a time capsule was hidden in one of the walls   Gianni   fell  in  love  with   it  , bought it  and    totally  renewed    in  his  signature   Baroque  Style .  The    House   is  now   known  as  Versace   Mansion  . 

To  be   invited   by  Gianni    at    his  " Palazzo "    was   same  as  been    invited   from   by  a   King .

Travel to Fashion Week & Style Queens

Summer  2018  shoes  Saint  Laurent , Marc Jacobs, Prada, Dolce&Gabbana , Chanel

Every    6   months    the   Fashion  pack   move  around    from  NY  to  London  ,  Milan  and Paris   to  see    future  collection ,  despite   look    really  glamorous  and   it   is  fashion  weeks  attendance is  also  very   tiring    with   show  starting   every  day   at  9  am  and   in  calendar  1  event  each  hour  ,  up  to  at  least   8  pm  .Try  to  attend  all  shows,  presentations  and  events    is   impossible there  is   traffic , and   always   something   happen   to   alt   your   plan  ,  last  October   for  example   I  got   trapped  inside   Hermes  office   elevator  for   about  45  minutes   together   with  other  member   of  press ,   we  were   all  crying afraid   to   miss Miu  Miu  show  .  Well  could   not   choose  a  more  glamorous    lift   to  be   trapped  !!!

What's  the  point  to  be  trapped unless  I  had memory  for  my Instagram  !😋

In  recent  years   Street  Style  took  over  and   we   now   have   several “Street  Style  Queens”.

 Some  of  the   girls   start  preparing  their   wardrobe   for  Fashion Week   a  month   ahead,  with  more   than   5  looks  a day    with   stylist   as   support  to  loan   what just  seen   on  catwalk  .

The  Talented   Designer   Natasha  Zinko   together    with   her  son Ivan  better  know  as @Thegoldenfly  a   young  street   style  sensation .

They   will   wear   Summer   collection   despite   freezing  condition in  February specially  in  NY , high   heels   all  day     the   average   walk during  a   day   of  Fashion  week   is   10  km   a  day  ( despite   having a   driver  )   and   of  course    winter   collection   in  September    when   temperature    is  still  above   20  degree !!!The    style    during  fashion  week    is  Hyper   Fashionista   ,  dress  to  appear ,    clashing   of  prints  and   colours  ,  nightwear   at   10  am  all  will   help   to  get   more   street   style  coverage   but   this  fashion  capitals   have    their   own  style .

The   items    which   will  be    on  trend   next   season  can  already  be  scout   worn  by  people    at  the  shows  . The  Italian   pack   with   Giovanna  Battaglia  ,  Anna dello  Russo  and   Gilda  Ambrosio  ( lately  one  of  my  favourite  )  , is  one  of   of  the  most  popular   .

 Gucci   last  September   was   one  of  the most Covet   brand    seen   on  fashion pack  ,   with  Gucci  belt  bag  as  superstar , together   with   Chloe  “Nile” bag.

The  Trench   Coat which  is   a  top   item  for   coming   season  was    very  popular  during  London  Fashion week despite that   week   strangely  but luckily    did  not  rain  in  London  .

We   do  love   fashion  week   not  only  for   what  seen  at  the   show but  also    for    the   glam  of   fashion  pack,  same   as   we   do   love    the   style   of  the  people   who   live  in  this fashion  capitals .

I  do   love  Fashion   is  never  boring  .

Maldives  are the most beautiful small islands on Earth. Strange to think that the idyllic Maldives have only been a holiday destination for 40 years or so. an

The Maldives are made up of 26 coral atolls in a chain reaching down to cross the equator. 

Is  almost  impossible  to understand   what  is   an  atoll  unless   you  finally    go   to Maldives ,  which is   what  I   finally  did  last  Xmas.

Within those 26 atolls are roughly 1,200 islands and of these around 200 are inhabited and 100 are resorts. Snooze in a floating hammock, watch the sunset ,  swim  like   in  an  aquarium     seams  to  be   transported    to   a  different   planet  .

You  will     have  the  sensation  to  be far away   from  the  rest  of  the  world . 

What  to pack? Maldives

Why   not  to  pack a  totally  directional wardrobe    done  only  of    white  pieces ,    in cotton   or Sangallo  lace ,   effortless    a  bit  bohemian  but   ultrachic , flat  sandals  shoes   and   slippers because   the  ground   is  all sand   to  be   in  complete tune   with   this island  of  heaven .

Rajmahal Palace 

This small Art Deco palace, owned by Jaipur’s royal family, underwent a painstaking restoration before reopening in 2015.
